Hi!   Please allow me to introduce myself, tell you a little about me and where we believe His influence is going and how God can use it.  So let’s start at the beginning….

I was born in upstate New York…. Ok, stop not there far back…. How about just a quick recap of the last 40 years or so?  Here it is… I am married to (literally) the woman of my dreams (but that’s a story for another time)….She is truly amazing for having put up with me for all these years.  We have been blessed with three children and I gave my life to God about 13 years ago..  Life has been a journey and God has truly made me who I am today.  I can say without hesitation that if it weren’t for God and my forgiving wife, I would not be married and I would have the blessing name for Heaven’s Victory.  Instead,  I would be a living a life I thought was fun and right, but all the while hurting those who truly cared for me.  God has taught me his amazing ability to change a life (See:  God Makes Straight What Was Once Crooked) and done it mine. I have personally experienced the presence of evil trying to enter our home to attack my family. And I fight today for my wife and daughter.  I am strengthened by a mother who has prayed for her children for many years. Yet this praying woman still pays for the personal battle she lost during my childhood while she waits for my brother to find the peace that was cut from him.   Then there is Pat, a true friend you must meet.  I know you will be encouraged when you learn of his faith filled life.  Stories about parking at the Mall because God told him to turn left and a man approaching him asking for answers about God, to acting just a bit too much like Paul and spending time in jail for God.  And today I have hope.  I have hope when I look at my son and know he is already a better man than I will ever be and I truly feel that God has great plans for my ‘Buddy’.

So that’s me, not all of me, but an introduction.  I will Blog about all the stuff I just mentioned and more.  And my hope is you will do the same.  His Influence website was designed for exactly that.  To give people a place where they can feel safe laying it all on the line, trusting that God will be there for comfort and encouragement.  When I first envisioned where this site would go, I wanted something more than the ability to let everybody know that my status is “Watching the grass grow” only to be followed a few hours later with “Wow, the grass is getting long” knowing that by tomorrow my status will be “Needed: Somebody to cut my grass…Too busy posting my status online”…

So as a member to His Influence you will be able to make your own Blog and follow your friends, allowing you to get to know them better.  Get to really know them.  We have also created different types of groups.  Groups to review Books, Accountability Groups (if you want your friends to help you, just ask)…We will be offering online Bible studies where we can converse in the “His Influence Forum”….  These discussions will certainly helps others that we don’t even know…

We are also working on ways to develop your personal relationship with God…. We have a forum where you can ask questions about books of the bible and get some answers…  I guess in a nutshell, we are hoping that “His Influence” is a place where you can feel at home online… Where you will help other s who need encouragement and hope and where you can come for the same….

Go ahead and register… There is no cost…. We are just beginning and we want your ideas on how to make it better…. Most important, we want to make a website where God can be given the Glory He Deserves!
